Andres D. Gonzalez is the Operations General Manager of La Familia Casa de Empeño. In this position, Gonzalez is responsible for marketing plan development, overseeing store openings and monitoring individual store growth.
Gonzalez was previously the manager of a Value Pawn and Jewelry branch, where he supervised the chain’s first store ever to reach $500,000 in loan balances, earning him the award of “Manager of the Year” in 2006. During his tenure as regional manager, he was credited for achieving record numbers in loans, sales and customer growth.
Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Gonzalez began his career as manager of a family-run propane company. He served in the U.S. Army for nine years, where he gained most of his leadership experience, working with others toward a common goal.
